What is a good way to make money online?
I have been searching for ways to make money online but most of the sites that I come across are scams. I want to earn some extra money in my free time, but I dont want to spend alot of time on my computer. I also want to be making a little more than $0.50 a week. If you know of a good site that is NOT a scam please let me know.
You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.
You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.

Well, Nathana, this is perhaps not the answer you are hoping for. There is NO WAY, I repeat, NO WAY that you can make much money online without spending a lot of time at your computer. Oops, that is not quite true. There is a way, but it involves spending money to pay other people to do the computer work for you.
If you do not want to spend either time or money, than sorry, but this isn’t the right line of work for you.
The survey sites pay you a nominal amount for doing surveys, but they require you to spend time at the computer, and then, the amount you make is likely to be pennies.
If by any chance you are willing to put some work and effort into making money online, I can point you to some useful links — but otherwise, no.

You should try online surveys. Some companies you can trust are global test market, treasure trooper and cashcrate. You should be able to get at least $1 a week from doing all the surveys.

Although there are ways to make money online, most people are better off simply getting a job at their local McDonalds, Starbucks or Wal Mart.
If you are hell bent on finding a way to make money online however then you need to avoid:
- Anything that wants you to pay money
- Anything that promises you will get rich quick
- Anything that makes you uncomfortable
Those things tend to be scams.
If you have a bit of spare time you could try GPTHQ (a site like cashcrate but imho better because it pays more and has a paypal option) or, if you have a lot of time and a typing speed of 35 WPM with 99% accuracy you could try freelance writing.

It depends on how much work you’re willing to put in to making money online. If you want to do very little work, then I suggest eBay.
If you want to make the big bucks (thousands of dollars), then I suggest internet marketing. You’ve got to be willing to do the promoting, the list building, the website traffic gathering, etc.
Internet marketing is a business, not just a hobby.

I tried it all too the I started making money once I digested and applied the principles in the MRMI book http://bit.ly/8rWRRL. What make me so mad is that I been studying all his training material and teaching my friends how to make real money on the internet the first time through blogging,youtube website ect so they don’t even have to go thought the mistakes I did. Anyone can make money on the internet, but for some reason people think no work is involved. Having so many different methods and information available on how to generate an income online doesn’t make it easy. Something I have used and strongly recommend is the following. Go join a website with lots of affiliate products such as Click Bank. Go and find an internet marketing guru who has released a lot of products. You join his email list and when he plans to launch a new product, about 2 weeks before a new product launch emails are sent out to all subscribers letting them know so they can get ready to promote the new product. You target new products like this because when it is released people will be searching for the product name. Effectively you are setting up shop just before the rush of traffic comes. .
